Ingredients
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 large onion, diced
- 7 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 carrots, grated
- 1 tablespoon celery seed
- 2 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried sage
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- ⅛ teaspoon fresh grated nutmeg
- pinch ground cloves
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon Imperial Sugar Light Brown Sugar
- 1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (28-ounce) can peeled San Marzano tomatoes
- 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
- 3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in slow cooker and cook for 8 hours, mashing with a potato masher every hour or so.
