Yes, Yes, Yes: Britney Spears Returning To Restaurant Industry

Oh hey grrl; Britney Spears is back in the restaurant business, as the Las Vegas Review Journal reports that the pop singer  "will have a slice of the Meatball Spot's ownership group."

Word on the street is that Brit-Brit has signed on as co-owner of the Vegas pizza restaurant after Top Chef contestant Carla Pellegrino fulfilled her contract. Post-Pellegrino, the pizza, pasta, and meatball shop has decided to relocate to Planet Hollywood (reopening next to the theater where Spears has conveniently signed a residency deal).

Earlier this year, Eater reports, Spears was in talks to open Meatball Stop outposts in California and Nevada; she was spotted dining at Meatball Spot with her manager in March.

Grub Street notes that this isn't Spears' first restaurant; back in 2002, Spears opened Nyla at the Dylan Hotel in Miami, with plans to create a "Justini" cocktail before the couple broke up.
