The World's Tallest Chocolate Easter Egg

Those who celebrate Easter are always looking forward to treating themselves to Easter candy. Hands-down, the most coveted Easter candy has to be the chocolate Easter egg. While we thoroughly enjoy all of the candy inside our baskets, there is something about biting into and egg shaped chocolate that defines Easter morning. One chocolatier in Tosca (Italy) could! It was measured at Le Acciaierie Shopping Centre, in Cortenuova, Italy April 16, 2011, and is the world's tallest chocolate Easter egg created by one person on record to date. The chocolate Easter egg weighed 15,873 pounds and had a circumference of 19.6 m (64 ft 3.65 in) at its widest point. With an impressive size and girth we can't help wondering — how big is the chocolate Easter hen that gave birth to that thing! That is a whole lotta' Easter chocolate!
