Travel Like A Royal In Seychelles
Royals generally seem to choose travel destinations based on what would make us commoners most jealous. So in true form, Will and Kate have just landed in the Seychelles for their honeymoon.

It is still unconfirmed which island will play host to the royal newlyweds, but there is a good chance they're in the lap of luxury on the island of Desroches. The couple traveled there once before in 2007. Not far from the main island of Mahé, the island boasts the stunning and refined Desroches Island Resort with its unparalleled views, extravagant villas, and mouth-watering dining options.
Guests of the hotel can choose to dine at the property's Creole restaurant Le Ve Loutier or sit beneath the trees for fresh seafood at the Ghost Crab Grill and Pizzeria. If, like Will and Kate, you're searching for a bit more privacy, the resort accommodates even the most restaurant-shy travelers with private dining options. Most rooms and villas have large private terraces on which dinner can be served or you

If an island hopping adventure is more your speed, start at Desroches and then jet over to Frégate island. Another possibility for where Will and Kate have taken up camp, the island is just a 20-minute flight from Mahé and is a landing pad for all things lavish. A private island, Frégate takes eco-friendliness to the next level by serving only island-grown ingredients. Guests on the island can take advantage of an impressive international wine cellar to wash down meals on any corner of the island from a tree house to the Plantation House restaurant.
Play in the water at beaches like Anse Soleil or Petit Anse before stopping for the night on the island of
Le Lemuria Resort. Make sure you stop by the Beach Bar and Grill at the hotel for the catch of the day and views of nearby coves. The Seychelles have plenty of islands you can access that don't have any kind of accommodation, making them feel truly off the grid. (Photo courtesy of Flickr/Jean-Louis Breisach)
So brush up on your French, practice your princess wave, and book your "royal" island getaway.
