What We're Loving: Magnolia Bakery's Earth Day Cupcake
You never need a reason to indulge in a cupcake, especially one of Magnolia Bakery's beloved bites. However, when a prime opportunity to eat a cupcake for a good cause presents itself, you better believe we're on board with that.
Magnolia Bakery has partnered with Urban Greenwalk, a nonprofit organization supporting green initiatives and personal eco responsibility that will launch in New York City April 18, to create a special treat for Earth Day. The bakery will be offering a limited-edition Earth Day cupcake that's decked out in green and blue vanilla buttercream that mimics a globe.
For the first time, Magnolia will donate 100 percent of their proceeds to Urban Greenwalk, which supports the efforts of Green Thumb, GrowNYC, Natural Areas Conservancy, Riverkeeper, Solar One, Transportation Alternatives, and the Waterkeeper Alliance.
The Earth Day cupcake ($3.50 each) will be available at Magnolia's Manhattan Bleecker Street location from April 20 to April 28 and at all of Magnolia's New York City locations on Earth Day, April 22.
