Wear A Costume, Get A $3 Burrito At Chipotle This Halloween
If you happen to find yourself wearing a costume this Halloween (and come on, you should be), you'd be wise to stop into your local Chipotle. That's because it's their annual Boorito Day and if you drop in between 4 p.m. and closing time, you'll have your pick of a burrito, a bowl, a salad, or an order of tacos for just $3.
Up to $1 million in proceeds from the sales will go to benefit the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation, which "is committed to creating a more sustainable and healthful food supply and to raising awareness concerning food issues. This is realized through the support of family farmers and their communities, educators and programs that teach younger generations about food matters, along with support for ranchers and farmers who are working to develop more sustainable practices," according to their website.
Last year the deal offered $2 specials to those in costume, and in previous years free burritos were given to those who dressed like one. No word on whether you'll get free guacamole if you come dressed as a burrito this year.
