Watch A Food Porn War Go South

We've all been there before; we're sitting with two friends who are super into social media, just about to eat some delicious cake (and entire cake! Yum), only to have gratification delayed by the necessities of documenting every little thing you eat.

Of course, this video below takes it just a step further. YouTube filmmakers Wong Fu Productions created this promo video for their latest contest for people looking to break into film production. But the video, featuring three friends sitting down for cake, steals the show. It starts with one friend whipping out her cellphone to take a photo... with flash (blasphemy!). Then the other friend grabs the cake for a "better" photo. This escalates into a detail shot, an overhead shot, a wide shot, and then several lighting assistants, a failed smoke machine, and some high tech tripods.

Watch the entire drama unfold below, only to be ruined by a surprise element. Spoiler alert: Never get between a hungry diner and his or her cake. Never. Food is meant to be eaten, people.
