Union Square Hospitality To Host 'Drink Pink' Charity Effort
Beginning May 1st, Union Square Hospitality Group will host Drink Pink, a month-long charitable event that will both celebrate the rosés of spring, and benefit the Brooklyn-based Bed-Stuy Campaign Against Hunger.
The restaurants participating in Drink Pink will be Union Square Café, Gramercy Tavern, Blue Smoke, The Modern, Café 2 and Terrace 5 at MoMA, Maialino, and North End Grill.
Each restaurant will offer a unique selection of rosés, from classic French, Italian, and American rosés at Union Square Café, to sparkling rosés at The Modern, to new California rosés at North End Grill.
During the month of May, a dollar from each glass sold, and four dollars from each bottle sold, will benefit the Bed-Stuy charity dedicated to bringing fresh food to the residents of central Brooklyn.
Guests can pick up a Drink Pink passport and receive stamps for sampling different rosés across USHG restaurants. At the end of the month, guests with at least three stamps will be entered to win prizes, including "Understanding Wine," a 10-week wine class at the Institute of Culinary Education.
