Umami Burger Opens At The Grove In Los Angeles
Even the health conscious residents of Los Angeles now have an excuse to indulge in a burger and milkshake. At 11am yesterday, Umami Burger opened its twelfth and newest flagship location at The Grove in Los Angeles.
Umami's new space at The Grove is bright, modern, and best of all, eco-friendly. Kanner Architects designed the establishment using reclaimed blonde wood and cream-colored leather to give the restaurant a natural, airy feel. The new Umami is equipped with 85 seats in the main dining room. They also offer an outdoor patio, where 100 guests can enjoy a burger and a beer while bathing in the California sun.

The Grove menu is consistent with the menus at other Umami locations, but there are a few special additions that are exclusive to this spot. The most buzzed about menu change is the addition of the Grove Truffle Burger, a juicy beef patty topped with Parmesan fondue and truffle sauce. Other special additions include savory Umami chips, LA Creamery Artisan Ice Cream milkshakes, and the Umami Dog. This is also the second Umami location to offer a kids' menu.
According to an Umami spokesperson, "When we look for places to open an Umami Burger, we look for great communities first. Over the past 10 years, The Grove has become an iconic Los Angeles destination to shopping, entertaining and food. It just made sense for us to be there."
