UK Michelin Winners Leaked
While we were sitting around twiddling our thumbs, waiting for the Michelin star lists to come out, it turns out that the U.K. list was leaked early (this, apparently, isn't the first time there's been a Michelin leak).
The list, which is set to be announced Oct. 4, appeared on the company's website. London restaurants that have been awarded one star includes: Alyn Williams at the Westbury, Dabbous, Medlar, Hedone, Launceston Place, St. John Soho, Tom Aikens, and Trishna, Bloomberg reports.
Three restaurants were promoted from one to two Michelin stars, a press release announced later: Sketch, in Mayfair, L'Enclume, in Cartmel, and Michael Wignall at the Latymer, Bagshot.
Meanwhile, the U.K.'s three-star restaurants retained their excellence: Fat Duck, Waterside Inn, Alain Ducasse, and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. The full list will be announced Oct. 4, presumably, if it doesn't leak again, but now you can get a kick start on your U.K. travel plans.
