Where To Dine With A View In Shanghai
There is no feeling as jubilant as looking at a cityscape, especially when it is lit up at night; there is something incredibly promising about the silhouette of skyscrapers or the infinite expanse of a city that spreads out so far and so wide it joins the horizon in the distance.
One thing we here at The Daily Meal love doing when we're eating our way around the world is checking out restaurants that offer incredible city views, and Shanghai's neon-drenched skyline is definitely a sight to be seen – all while enjoying great food and drink.
The best place to get a view of Shanghai is the city's Vue Bar at Hyatt on the Bund. Occupying both the 32nd and 33rd floors of the hotel, Vue Bar paints the perfect portrait of neon-drenched Shanghai. There is an extensive list of cocktails, premium spirits, champagnes, and wines to choose from. Pick your poison and settle into the night with an unobstructed view of both sides of the Huangpu River, taking in the Bund on the Puxi side of town along with the colorful skyline of the Lujiazui area on the Pudong side. Shanghai's cityscape is something to marvel at.
