Tracy Memoli of Suite & Savory, a luxury food and travel blog recently returned from the Key West for the Key West Film Festival.  Her pick for cocktails includes, Martin's Key West. "The best happy hour in Key West, sit at the bar and enjoy half priced appetizers and drinks, including martinis," she says. "Order a martini, the baked brie cheese and lobster tails."

Memoli also recommends Southernmost Beach Resort, saying it has the "best piña coladas on the beach."

Hot Tin Rood Restaurant

Planning a fancy dinner in Key West? Check out Hot Tin Roof Restaurant at Ocean Key Resort & Spa, named for author (and past Key West resident) Tennessee Williams' famous play. The restaurant, which has top notch waterfront dining and incredible sunsets overlooking the Key West Harbor, is a recipient of AAA's four-diamond award as well as the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.

Dinner with a View

Head out to Louie's Backyard for a nice dinner and a great view. Blogger Memoli calls Backyard Louie's "hands down the best place to watch the sunset." She suggests having cocktails and dinner, including "the glazed duck confit with 'good n' plenty' carrots, truffled fries and fontina fonduta and the Asian short ribs with shiitake rice."

Chart Room Bar

Step back in time with a visit to Chart Room Bar, located at the historic Pier House Resort & Spa. The bar is rustic, charming and very eclectic. Famed singers Bob Marley, Jim Croce and Jimmy Buffet played Chart Room Bar during their early days. Open every day from 4:30 p.m. to 2 a.m., the bar still serve free popcorn, peanuts and hot dogs, just like they have since Chart Room Bar opened in 1968

The Blind Pig

If you're craving gourmet snacks that represent Key West, plan a stop at The Blind Pig, the signature food truck permanently set up at the Gates Hotel Key West. Named after speakeasies, the Blind Pig is dishing up tapas style dishes with seasonal spices that are inspired by Key West. The signature sandwich, "The Blind Pig," features smoky pulled pork meat, aged cheddar cheese, cider barbecue glaze, and sweet onions on a pretzel bun.

Wine-O

Have a glass of wine (or two) in the heart of Key West. Head over to Wine-O at La Concha Hotel & Spa, a sleek and modern wine store and bar on Duval Street. Wine-O, open nightly, features over 200 bottles of vino from all over the world. Pair your wine with cheese or charcuterie boards at the bar.

Rick’s Upstairs

Dance lovers will want to hit Rick's Upstairs, which is one of Key West's hottest nightclubs. What's not to love? This club, open nightly, has disco music, lasers and smoke machines, as well as a mirrored full service bar and a multilevel dance floor.

Aqua Key West

Drop by Aqua Key West for the raucous and fun drag show, held nightly at the club on Duval Street. Meet the performers, known as Aquanettes too. Keep in mind, the closer you sit to the dance floor, the more likely you'll see lots the action!

Sandy’s Cafe

Need a late night snack? Look for the red and white awnings at Sandy's Cafe, home of the original Cuban sandwich. This Key West eatery dishes up breakfast, lunch and dinner including their signature Cuban sandwich, wraps, burritos and nachos. Don't forget the café con leche!
