The classic sangria gets a makeover with Gramona Gran Imperial cava, one of the best Catalan cavas.

In a white wine glass or flute, combine ½ ounce each of Cointreau, brandy, and Martini Rosso. With a pestle, squeeze pieces of fruit (based on preference) of lemon, lime, green and black grapes, and orange to enhance the flavor of the liquor. Next, add 2 teaspoons of sugar.
Spritz with 7-Up or Sprite (or orange juice for more fruit) and slowly fill the rest of the glass with cava. Garnish with a cinnamon stick. Serve with 2 straws.

Mediterranean Saúco

This boozy drink combines two ubiquitous drinks in one: cava and gin.

Mix 4 parts G'Vine gin, 1 part Saúco, and 3 parts cava. Garnish with fennel.

Lust Gin and Tonic

A fruitier gin and tonic with strawberries, spiced with pink pepper tonic.

Combine 2 ounces of No. 209 Gin, 5 ounces of pink pepper tonic, and shake with strawberries. Serve over ice.

Bertita Margarita

A classic margarita names after Frank Gehry's wife, Bertita.

Combine 2 ounces of Patrón Silver tequila and 1 ounce Cointreau. Squeeze a lime wedge and serve.

Rage Gin and Tonic

A classic gin and tonic made with Gin Mare, a Mediterranean gin distilled with olives, rosemary, thyme, and basil, served with fresh basil and a surprising dose of olive oil.

Combine 2 ounces of Gin Mare with a sprig of basil and a dash of extra-virgin olive oil. Top with 5 ounces of tonic. Serve with ice.
