The classes include instrument-based instruction for busy adults – take beginner or intermediate evening classes in piano, guitar or voice, for instance. The New Jersey School of Music has two locations – one in Medford and one in Cherry Hill. Originally just for children and teens, the School of Rock is now offering an adult program for those looking to rock out on stage. The program consists of a one-on-one lesson on a day that works for you and a two-hour rehearsal with a band once a week. The band rehearses chosen songs for two to three months before playing a live show. This course is perfect for those who already know how to play a rock instrument or even for those who have always wanted to learn, but never had the opportunity.

Settlement Music School has six locations in the area: South, West and Northeast Philadelphia, Germantown, Willow Grove and Camden. Regardless of age or musical background, Settlement Music School provides the community with over 10,000 hours of lessons and classes weekly. Individual lessons are available for students who prefer one-on-one interaction, but many classes are offered throughout the year.
