Taste Of Little Italy In San Diego

San Diego has a full schedule of events on deck this summer. 

The Taste of Little Italy is one of many restaurant tastings returning for another year with three route options to sample some of the city's Italian cuisine.

Described as a "pub crawl but with restaurants", the event features a north and south route as well as a combined route to allow participants to get the most of their experience. Each route takes patrons to 14 restaurants, and showcases restaurants like Bencotto Italian Kitchen, Napizza, and Isola Pizza Bar.

Roll out the Barrel returns for the fifth consecutive year and will feature a number of San Diego restaurants, wine makers, and brewers.

The event will be taking place on July 13th at Humphrey's Half Moon Inn & Suites, and will showcase restaurants such as Slater's 50/50 and Sea Rocket Bistro who will all be serving specialty items.

Proceeds from ticket sales and the event auction support the Make-A-Wish foundation of San Diego, an organization that grants wishes to children with terminal diseases.
