Where Is Cereal Killerz From Shark Tank Today?
By Cristine Struble
Christopher and Jessica Burns from Cereal Killerz appeared on Season 12 Episode 3 of "Shark Tank" to ask for $125,000 for 10% equity in their cereal business, which offers 100 varieties of cereal and 40 topping options. The sharks declined to invest in the business, but a sequel was on the horizon for this Nevada-based restaurant concept.
Although Cereal Killerz did not get a "Shark Tank" deal, it has churned out a successful business and continues to grow via franchising. Today, Cereal Killerz has four locations in Nevada and Arizona, including a restaurant in the Planet Hollywood Miracle Mile Shops, where guests can let their imagination run free, creating over-the-top shakes, bowls, and other sweet treats.
Cereal Killerz even created a special LeBron James Taco in honor of his love of Fruity Pebbles, and some people take on the Cereal Challenge, which gives you one hour to eat a bowl full of 130 different kinds of cereal. Their customers' enthusiasm has helped catapult their success over the years, as the company lets people do what their parents would never allow or just indulge in a fun treat.
