Costco’s twelve-pack butter croissants are a staple that usually goes stale very quickly, but there’s a way for you to repurpose them. TikTok is full of videos on recipes and trends, and a video posted by EatsbyRachel shows how you can give new life to stale croissants by turning them into twice-baked almond chocolate delights.

You’ll need simple syrup, sliced almonds, powdered sugar, dark chocolate, and frangipane for this recipe. The first thing you need to do is slice open the croissant and slather the interior with frangipane, then you’ll want to cut up a block of dark chocolate and sprinkle some inside the sliced croissant.

Once the interior is done, reassemble the croissant slices and dress the top with more frangipane, as well as chocolate and sliced almonds. After baking, sprinkle some powdered sugar over the twice-baked croissants for added sweetness.
