The Brand That May Be Behind Aldi's Cheap Goldhen Eggs
By Laura Zbinden
Aldi's Goldhen eggs are one of many staple products at Aldi, and there is speculation that they’re produced by the second-largest egg farm in the United States, Rose Acre Farms.
Aldi reviewer noted that cartons of Goldhen eggs list their packaging location in Indiana, at the same address as Rose Acre Farms' headquarters.
This speculation isn’t far-fetched because Rose Acre Farms also provides eggs for other popular egg brands, including Country Daybreak, Glenview, and Walmart's Great Value line.
Depending on the store it supplies, Rose Acre Farms sells a large variety of eggs for all kinds of shoppers, from cage-safe to organic cage-free eggs.
