Gordon Ramsay's Toasted Overnight Oats Are A Must Try
By Carly Weaver
Typically, one mixes oats, milk, a sweetener, and some extras — like chia seeds, fruit, or nut butter — sticks them in the fridge for the night, and savors the overnight oats in the morning, but that’s not the case for Gordon Ramsay. The celebrity chef recently shared his overnight oats recipe on TikTok, and he’s clearly revamping the no-bake classic by toasting his ingredients.
To recreate his dish, toast your oats in a baking pan until they're a light golden brown, toast coconut flakes, pepitas, and almonds, and then cook butter, maple syrup, salt, cinnamon, and cardamom in a saucepan until they thicken into a syrup. Next, mix golden berries, currants, and cranberries with your toasted oats and nuts, pour the syrup over them, and mix it all.
To assemble your overnight oats, pour your choice of milk, Greek yogurt, nut butter, the toasted oat mixture, and chia seeds into a mason jar, mix it all up, and store the jar in the fridge overnight. Top it off with some berries and nuts in the morning, and enjoy your toasted overnight oats, Gordon Ramsay-style.
