Are McDonald’s Hotcakes Made Fresh Every Day?
By Erin Metz
McDonald's hotcakes are an underrated breakfast item that often gets overshadowed by other popular breakfast items, but die-hard fans know just how tasty these hotcakes are.
However, even though they taste warm and fluffy, the hotcakes that McDonald's serves for breakfast arrive frozen at the locations and are reheated when an order is placed.
According to the company's website, many different suppliers provide ingredients to McDonald's kitchens, from large corporations to family-owned farms.
McDonald's hotcakes are primarily supplied by Bama Companies in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The company is known for providing the fast food chain with baked goods.
A simple plate of hotcakes arrives with a side of butter and maple syrup. Funnily enough, the butter is "real," while the maple syrup is not.
So, if you're craving a stack of homemade pancakes with genuine maple syrup on top, McDonald's may not be the place to grab breakfast.
