Self-Driving Google Car Brings Blind Man To Taco Bell
Google has been working on self-driving cars since 2010, and this week they debuted a video of Steve Mahan behind the wheel. The catch? Mahan is 95 percent blind.
"Here's Steve, who joined us for a special drive on a carefully programmed route to experience being behind the wheel in a whole new way," Google says.
Watch below as Mahan decides to get a taco from Taco Bell, and eats as he drives (or the car drives) back to his house. Imagine all the possibilities in multi-tasking driving! For starters, texting and driving would no longer be the huge problem it is now.
