- 1.5 tablespoon earl grey
- 6.5 tablespoon honey
- 2.5 cup rice wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon ginger peels
- 2 tablespoon orange zest
- 3 piece cardamom removed from pod
- 2 cup mirin
- 2 cup water
- 6 pears peeled and cut into 6 wedges (remove cores from wedge with a melon baller)
- Bring spices and liquids to a boil, remove from heat and add pears.
- Allow pears to steep for up to a day.
