Sandra Lee, Bobby Flay Snag Daytime Emmy Awards
Television food personalities Bobby Flay and Sandra Lee walked away from the Daytime Emmys this past weekend with some big wins, as Flay won for "Outstanding Culinary Program" for Bobby Flay's Barbecue Addiction.
Eater rounds up the all around good news, as Flay tweeted, "I'm so happy for my team at Rock Shrimp productions and @FoodNetwork ...Emmy !!!!"
Meanwhile, Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee snagged "Achievement in Makeup," while Lee herself won "Outstanding Lifestyle/Culinary Host."
Lee took to Facebook to express her reaction, saying, "I've pinched myself twice today already! I'm so overjoyed about our double Emmy win last night Semi-Homemakers! I think a little celebration is in order. Hope you're doing something special today because this award is all about YOU!"
Meanwhile, rumor has it Lee is in talks with makeup companies given her "Achievement in Makeup" win. According to the New York Post, "two cosmetic companies have reached out to Sandra about representing their brands." Given her First Girlfriendship, plus two new shows, it seems like Lee will be everywhere soon.
