A 'Royal' Family Steps Up To The Plate To Be The Royal Baby's Food Testers
Even though the royal baby is barely 24 hours old, tons of food companies are clamoring to be his number-one food provider. With this in mind, the Kansas City Royals baseball team here in the United States decided to create a video hoping to contribute to the new royal baby's food safety.
The players, who seem to have quite a bit of time on their hands, introduce their excitement by saying, "As members of the Royal family, we are very excited by the birth of the royal baby." They then go onto feed themselves baby food.
The hysterical minute-and-a-half "MLB Fan Cave" video stars coach and Hall of Famer George Brett, ace pitcher James Shields, and first baseman Eric Hosmer. The video, which plays in slow motion with dramatic Chariots of Fire-esque music, records the team as they snack on baby food. The video begins with Hosmer savoring a serving of chicken and gravy, Brett downing a spoonful of mushy carrots, and Shields smiling widely after enjoying a helping of puréed sweet peas.
Although it is unlikely William and Kate will take this "royal" family up on their food-tasting offers, we hope the couple, known for their great sense of humor, finds the video as funny as we did!
