Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 cup bisquick baking mix
  • 4 tablespoon cold butter
  • 1 heaping cup grated cheddar cheese, such as sharp cheddar
  • 3/4 cup cold milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
Directions
  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 F.
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, using a pastry cutter or two knives, mix 2 1/2 cups Bisquick with 4 tablespoons cold butter. After mixing, there should be pieces of butter the size of peas or coarse crumbs.

  4. Step 4: With an ice cream scoop, drop 1/4-cup portions of dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes, or until biscuit tops are golden.
  5. Step 1: In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons melted butter, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes.
  6. Step 2: Use a brush to spread the garlic-butter topping on the warm biscuit tops. Serve immediately.
