- 750 milliliter tequila (standard bottle), preferably avion silver
- 2 pound baby seedless watermelon
- 3/4 cup sugar (or more if desired)
- 2 cup basil leaves (leave a few aside for garnish)
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice

- Puree watermelon and sugar in a blender until smooth.
- Add sugar and mix until dissolved.
- Add basil and blend on low until leaves are broken up.
- Strain into pitcher.
- Whisk in tequila and lemon juice.
- Taste and add more sugar if desired.
- Chill until cold, at least one hour.
- Serve in ice-filled rocks glasses.
- Garnish with basil sprigs and lemon wheels.
