Spiced Tuscan Kale Chips Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 head tuscan kale, hard stems removed
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red chiles, or to taste
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Work in 2 batches. Place ½ of the leaves in a large bowl and drizzle with ½ tablespoon of olive oil (don’t use too much oil, as this will make the chips greasy). Sprinkle with sea salt and crushed red chiles. Repeat for second batch.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the kale leaves in a single layer. Place in the oven and bake for 10 minutes. (Watch them to ensure they don’t burn, as they’re very thin and crisp up quickly.) Remove from the oven.
  4. Enjoy immediately (I love when they are warm, actually) or store in an airtight container or plastic bag.
