- 1 cup persimmon pulp
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 egg, beaten
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Mix persimmon pulp with sugar. Add in the eggs, whisking. Then add the buttermilk and butter.
- Sift the flour with the baking powder, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Fold the flour into the persimmon mixture. Pour the batter into a 9-inch greased pan, and bake for about an hour or until a tooth pick inserted into the center comes out clean.
