Ingredients
- 1 lime
- 1/2 ounce aged rum, preferably appleton estate reserve blend
- 4 dashes triple sec, preferably combier
- 1 teaspoon (bar spoon) orgeat syrup
- 1/2 ounce dark rum, preferably coruba dark rum
- mint, for garnish
Directions
- Cut a lime disc off of a whole lime. Squeeze lime disc and rub on the inside of a rocks glass and drop in.
- Add a big rock. Add all ingredients except for dark rum.
- Stir cocktail about 50 to 60 times, or until the cocktail is really diluted.
- Layer dark rum on top. Garnish with a mint sprig.
