M&T Bank Stadium Crab Tots
Total time: 1 hour
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/3 cup diced celery
  • 3 tablespoon butter
  • 16 ounce cream cheese
  • 4 ounce heavy cream
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons old bay seasoning
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons ranch powder/dressing mix
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 2 pound tater tots (any brand)
  • 2 cup diced tomato
  • 1/2 cup chopped scallions
  • 2 cup shredded cheddar/monterey jack cheese
  • 1 pound lump crab meat
Directions
  1. Sweat onion and celery in butter until translucent.
  2. Add heavy cream and bring to boil.
  3. Add Old Bay, Ranch seasoning and Worcestershire.
  4. Remove from heat and add cream cheese a few pieces at a time, using a hand mixer.
  5. Preheat broiler.
  6. Follow package instructions for tater tot preparation.
  7. Place hot tots in large casserole dish.
  8. Drizzle crab dip base over tots and sprinkle with cheese.
  9. Add diced tomato and crab meat.
  10. Place under broiler and remove once cheese has melted.
  11. Sprinkle scallions and serve.
