Ingredients
  • 1½ ounce tequila don julio blanco
  • 1 ounce green apple juice
  • ½ ounce lemon juice
  • ½ ounce ginger syrup (see directions below)
  • 2 dash of bar keep organic apple bitters
  • 1 part ginger juice
  • 1 part cane sugar
Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients together in a shaker. Add ice and shake. Strain into a Collins glass over fresh ice and garnish with a skewered ginger candy.
  2. Juice ginger and allow starch to settle out of solution (12-24hrs). Decant juice through a chinois and combine with cane sugar and stir briskly. Let sit for a few minutes and stir again until sugar is completely dissolved.
