- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
- juice from 1 lemon
- 2 teaspoon tabasco brand original red sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook 1 minute longer. Stir in the remaining ingredients and bring to a low boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
