Honey Roasted Brussel Sprouts With Bacon And Chicken

Ingredients
  • 4 cup brussels sprouts
  • 6 slices of bacon, diced
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup red onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 bag of fully cooked perdue short cuts original roasted carved chicken breast
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a baking dish, spread Brussels sprouts in a single layer and put in oven.
  2. In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon and drain on paper towels.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the pan and add onions in, stirring constantly, for 6 to 8 minutes or until tender. Remove from heat; add onions to the pan of Brussels sprouts. Toss well and spread in a single layer. Bake for 20 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, combine honey and vinegar. Remove pan from oven; stir in honey mixture, bacon, and Perdue chicken. Add salt and pepper to taste and serve.
