High-Protein Avocado Toast
Traditional avocado toast has loads of healthy fats and healthy carbs to get you through the day - but it's missing protein. The yogurt in this recipe helps solve that issue, while adding a nice creamy texture. This recipe was contributed by Siggi's.

Ingredients
- 1 slice whole-grain bread
- 1/2 avocado
- 3 tablespoon non-fat yogurt, such as siggi’s plain 0% skyr
- 2 ounce heirloom tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes, optional
- salt and pepper
Directions
- In a small bowl, mash the avocado with the yogurt. Season with red chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Toast the bread if you desire.
- Spread the mixture on the bread. Top with the tomatoes and add a touch more salt and pepper to taste.
