Ingredients
- 2 slices thick crusty bread
- butter, room temperature
- generous amount of cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons fig jam
- 2 slices cooked bacon, chopped
Directions
- Heat a pan over medium- high heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread and slather fig jam on the other side. Arrange with cheese and bacon, the place the sandwich on the pan.
- Allow bread to become toasted a dark brown.
- Flip to toast the other side.
- Once the cheese is melted, remove from heat and serve.
