Ginger-Pear Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients
spray oil
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
2/3 cup water
1 medium pear, cored and finely chopped
2 tablespoon no-calorie granulated sweetener
Directions
Lightly spray a medium saucepan with spray oil.
Add onion, ginger and a pinch of salt.
Cook over medium heat 5–7 minutes, or until tender, stirring occasionally.
Add cranberries and 2/3 cup water.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer gently 4 minutes, or until cranberry skins pop and mixture thickens slightly, stirring occasionally.
Transfer to a bowl. Let cool to room temperature, about one hour.
Stir in pear and no-calorie granulated sweetener.
