Easy Bacon-Wrapped Filet Mignon
Filet mignon is such a tender cut of beef, you don't need to do much to make it taste amazing. This recipe just adds a bit of bacon to the mix, but it's an optional addition to a great meal

Ingredients
- 2 strips of bacon
- 2 4-ounce filet mignon steaks
- 2 tablespoon olive oil or butter
- salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375 F.
- Step 2: Wrap the edges of your steak with bacon and secure with toothpicks. Season meat with salt and pepper.
- Step 3: Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter in a pan on medium-high heat. Sear the steak for 1 minute on each side.
- Step 4: Place the steaks in the oven, reduce the heat to 325 degrees, and bake for 5 minutes. Flip the steak over and continue baking for another 3 minutes for medium rare. Adjust cooking time according to oven consistency and taste preference.
