Ingredients: 1 1/2 ounce gin, preferably bombay sapphire; 1/2 ounce ginger syrup; 1/2 ounce lemon juice; 1 1/2 ounce tamarind-turbinado sugar purée; 1 splash of soda water

Everyone has an idea of what an alcoholic iced tea is, and it usually begins and ends with Long Island. This cocktail recipe has all of those flavors in a brand new package.This recipe is courtesy of Pisco y Nazca.

Ingredients

1 1/2 ounce gin, preferably bombay sapphire
1/2 ounce ginger syrup
1/2 ounce lemon juice
1 1/2 ounce tamarind-turbinado sugar purée
1 splash of soda water

Directions

Shake first four ingredients; pour into a highball glass.
Add a splash of soda water.
Garnish with a lemon wedge dipped in turbinado sugar.
