Crockpot Cheesy Southern Grits

Ingredients
3 cup regular grits (not the quick variety)
12 cup water
2 cup heavy whipping cream
2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
3 tablespoon or four tablespoons butter
6 teaspoon salt
Directions
Soften the butter.
Combine all ingredients except the shredded cheese.
Cook on low in the crock pot for 6 to 8 hours, stirring occasionally.
About 15 to 30 minutes before serving, stir in shredded cheese. Enjoy!
