This cocktail is like a tropical snow cone for adults. The tequila is complimented by pineapple and lime juices, plus some simple syrup (sugar) and bitters for balance.This recipe is courtesy of Corralejo.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounce añejo tequila, preferably corralejo
  • 1 ounce pineapple juice
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • 5 dash of aromatic bitters

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients except the bitters into a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Shake hard to chill.
  3. Strain into glass over crushed ice.
  4. Top with aromatic bitters.
  5. Garnish with pineapple wedge.
