Berry Transfusion Cocktail

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup concentrated beet juice
- 1 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
- 2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 ounce berry vodka, preferably ménage à trois
- 3/4 ounce crème de cassis
- 3/4 ounce lemon juice
- 1/2 ounce beet grenadine
- gooseberries, to garnish
- mint, to garnish
Directions
- Heat all the ingredients together in a pan set over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, to reduce the mixture until it becomes a sticky syrup.
- Shake the vodka, cassis, and lemon juice with ice. Strain into a stemless wine glass filled with crushed ice. Top with beet grenadine. Garnish with gooseberries and mint.
