Pudding Shots That Are Perfect For Fall
While all of your friends are dressing up for your party, consider dressing up your drinks for them. Jungle juice and kegs are the popular choice but why not branch out and impress your guests with these delicious fall themed pudding shots.
Candy Corn Pudding Shots
This delightful treat combines the look of a classic fall treat with the rich, yummy flavors of chocolate, orange and vanilla. This is a cheap way to make a fun drink or dessert for a party because instant pudding is super cheap.
Prep time: 10 minutes
Freeze time: 1 hour
Total time: 1 hour and 10 minutes
Servings: 100 -1 oz. shots
Ingredients:
1 small box instant chocolate pudding
2 small boxes instant vanilla pudding
6 cups + 1 tbsp milk
24 oz. cool whip
1 packet orange drink mix
1 cup chocolate liquor
1 cup orange liquor
1 cup whipped vodka
Directions:
1. In one bowl, add chocolate pudding mix and 2 cups of milk and stir to combine until thick and free of lumps. Add 8 oz. of cool whip and fold into pudding until thoroughly combined.
2. Add chocolate liquor and stir to combine. Taste test and add more liquor if you would like.
3. In a small cup, combine 1 tbsp milk and half of the orange drink mix by stirring.
4. In a separate bowl, add contents of one vanilla pudding mix and 2 cups of milk then stir to combine until thick and free of lumps. Add orange milk mixture and stir. Add 8 oz. of cool whip and fold into pudding until thoroughly combined.
5. Add orange liquor and stir to combine. Taste test and add more liquor if you would like.
6. In a third bowl, add second vanilla pudding mix and 2 cups of milk then stir to combine until thick and free of lumps.
7.Fold in the last 8 oz. of cool whip until the mixture is smooth.
8. Add whipped vodka and stir to combine, taste test and add more vodka if you would like.
9. Add each type of pudding to an individual zip-lock bag and snip off the corner or to individual squeeze bottles. Layer pudding into shot glasses by filling it one third with vanilla, with one third orange and topped off with one third chocolate. Freeze until right before you want to serve.

For those who don't enjoy chocolate, here is an alternative candy corn shot that once again combines the look of the classic fall treat, with three delicious pudding layers: coconut, orange and pineapple.
Prep time: 10 minutes
Freeze time: 1 hour
Total time: 1 hour and 10 minutes
Servings: 100 -1 oz. shots
Ingredients:
2 small boxes instant vanilla pudding
1 small box instant white chocolate pudding
1 packet orange drink mix + 1 tbsp milk
6 cups milk
24 oz. cool whip
1 cup pineapple rum
1 cup orange liquor
1 cup coconut rum
Directions:
1. In three separate bowls, mix each pudding mix with 2 cups of milk. Prepare orange drink mix using directions from recipe above.
2. Fold 8 oz. of cool whip into each bowl of pudding.
3. Add pineapple rum to one of the vanilla pudding bowls and stir to combine.
4. Add the orange milk mixture and orange liquor to second bowl of vanilla pudding and stir to combine.
5. Add coconut rum to the white chocolate pudding bowl and stir to combine.
6. Add each type of pudding to an individual zip-lock bag and snip off the corner or to individual squeeze bottles. Layer pudding into shot glasses by filling it one third with coconut, with one third orange and topped off with one third pineapple.
7. Freeze until right before you want to serve.
Apple Red Pudding Shot
This is a simpler recipe that is just as tasty. If this is your first time making pudding shots, this is a great gateway into the pudding shot world because it isn't layered. It's great for fall because it's as red as fresh apples, and your guests will love it.

Servings: 30 -1 oz. shots
Ingredients:
1 small box instant vanilla pudding
2 cups +1 tbsp milk
8 oz. cool whip
1 packet strawberry drink mix
2 cup peach schnapps
Directions:
1. Combine pudding mix with 2 cups milk and stir until thick and free of lumps.
2. Fold in cool whip until thoroughly combined.
3. Stir drink mix into 1 tbsp of milk and add to pudding then stir to combine. Add peach schnapps then taste test and add more if you so desire.
4. Add pudding carefully to a baggie that has been tucked into a small glass.
5. Snip off end of baggie so you can squeeze pudding out. Squeeze pudding into shot glasses then freeze until you serve them.
