The Pit Authentic Barbecue's Coleslaw
This coleslaw is the perfect cool flavor to compliment the hot and tangy barbecue from Eastern North Carolina and is one of the more than a dozen sides from executive chef Darrell Brown's menu at The Pit.

Ingredients
- 2 cup duke's whipped salad dressing
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon french's yellow mustard
- 3/4 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- a dash of salt and pepper
- 2 pound green cabbage, shredded
- 2 1/2 ounce red cabbage, shredded
- 2 ounce carrots
Directions
- Mix all the ingredients together well in a large bowl. Serve before chilling.
