Peninsula Hotels Offer Special Pink-Themed Promotions
For the third year in a row, The Peninsula Hotels are showing their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with the "Peninsula in Pink" campaign. The group-wide campaign includes special pink-themed promotions at all of the nine Peninsula Hotels — from New York to Beijing — with the goal of raising awareness and money for breast cancer research and support. The proceeds from the campaign are going directly to breast cancer-related charities in each Peninsula destination, according to a press release.
As part of the promotion, Peninsula Hotels will be decorated with pink flowers, hotel facades will be lit in pink, and all staff will wear a specially designed Peninsula pink ribbon pin. While each hotel offers its own "pink specials," a signature attraction across all hotels will be the "Peninsula in Pink" Afternoon Tea, which will include a selection of pink-hued cakes and pastries, such as macarons, as well as traditional scones served with clotted cream and preserves. To pair with the sweet treats are limited-edition pink cocktails. This year, "Naturally Peninsula" organic menus are another highlight of the campaign, which will be available in each hotel lobby to promote healthy eating, with recipes also available online for guests to recreate at home. In addition to food specials, guests can relax with "Pretty in Pink" spa packages. The campaign is ongoing throughout the month of October.
