Peeps Flavor Of The Year Hits Shelves And The Winner Is....

Did you think of Peeps as just plain old sugar-coated marshmallow chicks? Well you thought wrong, because Peeps, the beloved cute and fluffy Easter basket-stuffer, now comes in every flavor of the rainbow including sour watermelon, sweet lemonade, bubblegum, party cake, and original. Last year Peeps fans voted on the inclusion of a new Peeps flavor, and the winner is blue raspberry, which will only be sold at Wal-Mart stores. Peeps will also come in bite-sized versions for the first time.

Just in time for Easter, you can now have a wide variety of Peeps to choose from, for only $1.08 per package. Peeps is actually looking to break out of their springtime mold with these new flavors and begin appealing to mallow-lovers all year round, according to Business Week.
