Patina Debuts Summer Menu
Zucchini, melon, peppers, and squash are just a few crops that are bountiful in the summer. Patina, located in Los Angeles, will be using summer produce such as these on their new menu to highlight the best the season has to offer.
Founder and chef Joachim Splichal and chef de cuisine Charles Olalia have created a variety of dishes that bring out the flavors of summer, such as the Copper River King Salmon with ratatouille, squash blossoms, manila clams, and basil, as well as the stonefruit salad with celtuce (a hybrid of celery and lettuce), yogurt, basil, and crostini.
The menu will change weekly based on the chefs' Wednesday farmers market trips. Diners will be able to taste the seasonal menu nightly, as they will be offered the choice of three- or four-course meals ranging from $49 to $59 per person.
Patina will be offering the summer menu until Aug. 26, when they close for summer break, so make reservations before the summer sun sets.
