Wahlburgers And Wahlberg Brothers To Star In Reality Show
Mark and Donnie Wahlberg (of Ted/Entourage and New Kids on the Block fame, respectively) are hitting the reality TV circuit.
Eater grabs hold of a press release announcing Wahlburgers, a new reality show from A&E that tells the "rags to riches" story behind the Wahlbergs, focusing on Mark and Donnie as the entertainers and eldest brother Paul as their "most talented sibling," or chef.
The burger restaurant is the "home base for the gang from the old neighborhood," bringing together the Wahlberg brothers, their mother Alma, childhood friends Johnny "Drama" Alves and Henry "Nacho" Laun (the original "entourage"), plus Billy Leonard (Mark's childhood friend).
The show, then, will track the restaurant's growth amid sibling rivalry, bickering, and drama, we imagine, and we can only hope for plenty of brotherly love (and quarrels).
"In the city that witnessed the family's rags-to-riches story become a reality, all eyes are on the Wahlbergs who are determined to make the restaurant a success in Boston and beyond. Now they just have to agree on a second location." The second location they agree on? Apparently in Toronto.
Wahlburgers premieres Jan. 22 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on A&E.
