'SpongeBob' Krusty Krab Restaurant To Open In West Bank
"I'm ready! I'm ready!" says everyone's favorite animated sponge. But are you ready for the opening of a Krusty Krab-replica restaurant based on the famous burger spot in SpongeBob SquarePants? The burger joint will be opening in Ramallah, the de facto administrative capital of the State of Palestine, in the West Bank, very soon. Construction is underway, and the Krusty Krab's Facebook page already has photos. A statue of Mr. Krab will be placed out front, and the décor in the real-life replica looks exactly like the animated underwater restaurant.
Of course, the answer to the question on everyone's mind is yes, of course there will be a Krabby Patty on the menu. The Krabby Patty is a frozen topped with all of the trimmings, and the coveted special formula.
So, what else should be on the menu? We're thinking that Patrick's Starfish sliders might be a good option, and maybe a sandwich named after Sandy, or the Flying Dutchman French fries. Of course, we're hoping that the Chum Bucket doesn't move in across the street, because if it's anything like Plankton's horrid creations in the animated series, we may not want to come back.
