Reese's Now Comes In Spreadable Form

Someone answered our prayers and combined chocolate and crunchy slightly-chunky peanut butter into an addictive, spoon-licking spread. And that someone is Reese's. Hershey's has just released a Reese's Peanut Butter Chocolate Spread, which combines everything you love about peanut butter cups, and spreads like Skippy, Nutella into one sweet jar.

"Reese's Spreads offer an authentic Reese's experience to fans who are looking for delicious snack options throughout the day," said Daren Russ, brand manager of the Hershey's company in a statement.  "With the launch of Reese's Spreads, we are honoring our great heritage and bringing consumers a new, but still perfect, way to enjoy the Reese's brand."

We tried out the new Reese's spread, and agreed that the thick, slightly-chunky stuff could be spread onto anything: most notably pretzels, apples, wafers, or plopped on top of ice cream. Some simply felt that the most perfect vehicle for the Reese's spread is simply a spoon.
