The Pumpkin Spice Latte Now Exists In Umami Burger Form
If there's still room in your heart for pumpkin spice and you don't mind a little creative license between the boundaries of sweet and savory, Adam Fleischmann's Umami Burger has a new seasonal burger that will appeal to the most diehard of PSL devotees.
The burger is an effort to make the most of a seasonal flavor profile that has "grown into a frenzy," says Umami Burger CEO Paul Clayton.
Launching Wednesday, November 5, Umami Burger will offer a Pumpkin Spice Latte Burger that features Umami's signature beef patty, plus garlic aioli, tempura kabocha (an Asian winter squash), spiced mascarpone, and a coffee glaze. On Wednesday, the burger will be available for $4, and then $12 at all participating locations for the rest of the season.
In the words of the press release from Umami Burger:
"So on your way to yogilates or Starbucks, pick up the Pumpkin Spice Latte Burger, too. And don't forget to throw on your Uggs. We swear you'll be OBSESSED after first bite."
